I am writing to suggest a few additional features to improve the app blocking capabilities in your android exploits app. These features would significantly enhance user experience, privacy, and overall control over applications.
Hi cheescake,
we are currently planning such a feature that is able to block connection of certain apps. The feature will work like a firewall and you can allow and deny connectivity of certain apps. Also you can track what connections some apps did and monitor their activity.
Beside of that we also going to release some improvements in our app scanner, allowing you to get an easier way to review apps with critical security score.
Thanks for your request and if you have further suggestions we are open to hear 😉
How do I know if an app is acting misleading. Spying on me
Thank you for reaching out with your concern! Misleading or spying apps can compromise your privacy, so it’s crucial to stay vigilant. Here are a few signs to watch out for:
-
Excessive Permissions: Be cautious if an app requests permissions unrelated to its function (e.g., a flashlight app asking for microphone or camera access).
-
Unusual Behavior: Notice if your device heats up, battery drains quickly, or there’s unexplained data usage.
-
Background Activity: Apps running in the background without clear purpose may indicate spying.
-
Unknown Source: Always download apps from trusted stores like Google Play and avoid third-party sites.
To protect yourself, check app permissions in your settings and consider using our app's Scam Protection feature. It helps detect suspicious behavior and keeps you aware.
Hi @cheescake83,
Im happy to announce that we released the app review feature starting with the app version 7.2.x. It will allow you to get more insights how we scan apps and an option to review apps using the "Review Critical Apps" button. However, the firewall feature is still in development.
